The RFP is for consulting services to support the creation of a detailed implementation plan, procurement, and project management stages for the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) deployment project. Question Deadline 04/13/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes The study demonstrated the viability of an AMI implementation coupled with replacement of mechanical meters with static meters. A full AMI deployment using static meters was identified as the optimal implementation method due to the positive cost benefit/cost ratio from the improved meter read accuracy and the ability to leverage the benefits of AMI. From these preliminary positive results, IRWD has decided to proceed with the next steps in the process toward AMI implementation. IRWD is requesting proposals from highly qualified consultants with demonstrable experience evaluating and implementing water utility AMI projects to assist with a multiphase project that includes three phases: o Phase 1: Detailed Implementation Plan o Phase 2: AMI Procurement (optional) o Phase 3: AMI Implementation Project Management (optional) QA - April 21, 2025: IRWD Response to Questions
