Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
n 2017, Staff had concluded a study that examined the conversion of the existing one-way pair street system to a twoway street system. The first phase of the 2-way conversion was completed in 2022 along St. Paul Avenue and North St. The second phase of the 2-way traffic conversion would include intersection improvements and geometric changes and pavement reconstruction at the Moreland Blvd./E. North St./E. St. Paul Avenue intersection, including traffic signal upgrades, pavement marking changes, signing upgrades, and ADA curb ramp upgrades. Additional asphalt pavement resurfacing along E. North St. and E. St. Paul Avenue to match the 2022 limits is also included within this project. As of March 13, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. Funding is allotted for FY 2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
