The City of Washington, Kansas, is inviting bids for cold mix. Please give a per ton price bid delivered. Bids will be reviewed and a recommendation made to each City Council for consideration on Monday, April 7, 2025. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids with or without cause and to waive any irregularities. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me at (785) 325-2284. GENERAL The specific tons purchased will be the decision of City Council based on the price per ton. City of Washington staff is requesting to purchase 500 ton. DELIVERY Delivery no later than April 23, 2025. Five hundred tons (or approved purchase amount) will be delivered to the City's mixing strip located at 900 D Street, Washington, KS 66968. City staff shall be notified 24 hours prior to delivery. A weigh ticket must accompany each load, signed by a city employee and a copy of the ticket given to the employee. Delivery must be made during a city work day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. All cost associated with transportation will be bidder's responsibility if the bid was submitted as delivered price. TAXES This purchase is tax exempt. Appropriate certification will be supplied to the vendor upon request.
