Matt Lee Sr. Management Analyst (385) 201-2902 malee@lehi-ut.gov This Request for Proposal (RFP) will assist the Lehi Power Department to select a qualified contractor to enter into a 2-year power excavation contract with an option to extend 1 year. 2.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City is seeking proposals to enter into a 2-year power excavation contract with a qualified contractor, with an option to extend 1 year. The contractor is required to submit cost estimates for each project during contract term. Material price change may be no more than 10%. If material price cost change exceeds 10%, documentation from the supplier is required. Contractor must be bonded, licensed, and insured. 2.3 SCOPE OF WORK Open trenching and directional bore pricing is included in the contract and will be completed according to Lehi Power standards. Conduit is also laid by contractor. The bid sheet includes all necessary conduit and includes each type of soil condition. Conduit is laid one foot per inch. For example, a three-inch conduit is laid three feet deep. 2.4 PROJECT SCHEDULE As needed basis. Contract term is two years.
