La Mesa-Spring Valley Schools ("District") is seeking proposals to provide a comprehensive Facilities Condition Assessment ("FCA") and software or similar digital database conducive with maintaining fixed asset condition information from the FCA for developing long-term capital plans, budgets, and reports. The Request for Proposal ("RFP") is intended to solicit responses from qualified firms that are interested in providing, but not limited to, the services below: _ Facilities Condition Assessment _ Conduct a thorough physical assessment of La Mesa Spring Valley School District's 21 schools to identify and report existing conditions of critical systems, including roofing, walls, window systems, ceilings, HVAC systems and controls, lighting and branch circuits, electrical service and distribution service, communications and security systems, plumbing systems, underground utilities including sanitary sewer, storm drain, electrical and low voltage, potable water, and irrigation systems. _ Software/Database _ Provide La Mesa Spring Valley School District with a Windows supported multi-user database, or a windows and/or web based asset management software that allows District staff to manage and update information pertaining to the physical assets evaluated in the FCA. This solution should also provide staff the tools for evaluating capital needs, inform capital projects and budgets, and assist in long term capital planning without requiring ongoing license or user fees.
