MAJOR BID ITEMS will include: Mobilization - LS, Access - LS, Erosion and Water Pollution Control - LS, Roadway Excavation and Disposal 260 CY, Channel Excavation and Disposal - 700 CY, Removal of Structures-LS, Sheet Pile - 1200 sq ft, Streambed Gravel - 50 CY, Foundation Rock - 10 CY, Procure and Install Precast Backwall - LS, Select Borrow 25 CY, Crushed Surfacing 60 CY, Large Woody Debris 12, Site Restoration- LS and other items in conformance with the 2024 WSDOT Standard Specifications incl. the APWA Supplement, and the Special Provisions for this project. This project is funded by a grant from the Family Forest Fish Passage Program, which is joint partnership through Department of Natural Resources, Department of Fish and Wildlife and Recreation and Conservation Office. Washington State prevailing wage provisions apply to this project and the contractor will be required to file a Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages to Department of Labor and Industries, as well as Affidavit of Wages Paid. The District will not make final payment until they receive evidence that the Affidavit form has been certified by L&I. ALL BID PROPOSALS must be in writing, on forms furnished from the Lewis Conservation District, placed and sealed in an envelope, with an indication on the front bottom left corner of said envelope, the project name, name of bidder, and date and time of opening, and then delivered to the Lewis Conservation District Manager on or before the day and hour of the abovementioned bid opening. Lewis Conservation District reserves the right to accept or reject bids on each item separately or as a whole, to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to contract as to the best interest of the Lewis Conservation District.
