Police Department Training Center Renovation This project includes all necessary Work required for interior and exterior improvements at 2520 East Commerce Street, Tyler, Texas, 75702. The scope includes façade renovations, new roofing, new windows, interior mechanical/electrical/plumbing replacement and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. The City of Tyler will consider the qualifications of the Contractor and the proposed Contract Price and Time to determine which Contractor, in the opinion of the City, will provide the best value to the City of Tyler. The Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria and weighting: Proposed Contract Price = 50% Proposed Completion Time = 10% Experience with Projects of this Specific Type and Magnitude (with references) = 20% Company Profile and General Experience (with references) = 10% Safety Record/Financial Profile = 5% Any other relevant factor either listed in the RFP or provided by the general contractor (bonding capacity, location, etc.) = 5% Award of Contract: It is the intent of the City of Tyler to award this contract to the Contractor who provides the best value for the City as determined when considering the relative importance of costs and other evaluation factors described above.
