The City of Salisbury is seeking a firm with experience in the design and construction administration of park restrooms for government entities. Scope of Services The selected firm will be responsible for the following tasks: Site Assessment and Feasibility Study: -Conduct a detailed site assessment of the proposed restroom location within City Park. -Analyze the feasibility of the project, considering environmental, regulatory, and logistical factors such as site access, utilities, and ADA compliance. Design Development: -Develop detailed architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) designs for the restroom facility. -Ensure the design incorporates durable, vandal resistant materials, low maintenance fixtures, and sustainable practices. -Plan for any site modifications and utility connections -Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including ADA requirements and stormwater management Permitting and Approvals: -Provide support for all required permit applications. -Coordinate with relevant authorities to secure necessary approvals, including building permits, zoning permits and any environmental permits. Construction Documentation: -Provide detailed construction drawings, material specifications, and equipment lists. -Develop a construction phasing plan to minimize disruption to park operations and visitor access. Construction Management: -Manage the entire construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and procurement of materials. -Oversee all onsite construction activities, ensuring the work adheres to the approved design, quality standards, and project timeline. -Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and City staff to ensure smooth execution of the project. -Implement safety protocols, including site security measures, to protect workers and the public. -Address any construction related issues or change orders that arise, adjusting as needed to keep the project on track. -Provide regular progress reports to City staff and ensure all work is completed to the City's satisfaction. Post Construction Support -Conduct a final inspection with the City and address any punch list items before final project acceptance. -Provide as built documentation, including warranties and maintenance manuals. -Offer post construction support during the warranty period to address any defects or issues. Base bid work also includes associated site grading; water and sewer utility work; sidewalks; landscaping (re-seed / grassing).
