Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Claryville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
From KY 9 (AA Highway) to the south leg of the intersection of KY 2345 (Johns Hill Road) and KY 2405 (Norse Boulevard) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will be seeking teams of Contractors and Consultants for an upcoming Best Value Design Build project to construct a new connector road from the KY 9 to the south leg of the intersection of Johns Hill Road and Norse Boulevard. This project includes the following: Construction of a new, two-lane connector roadway, approximately 6,500 linear feet in length, between St. Johns Lane / KY 1998 (Pooles Creek Road) and the south approach to the Norse Boulevard / Johns Hill Road roundabout. Upgrades to the existing Pooles Creek Road approach to the AA Highway intersection. Reconstruction of approach roads connecting to the new connector road, including St. Johns Lane and Pooles Creek Road. Construction of approximately 6,900 linear feet of new shared use path to connect from the AA Highway to the south end of the existing path south of the Norse Boulevard / Johns Hill Road roundabout.
