The scope of work for this project is replacement and addition of walk in freezers and coolers, cooler/freezer related condensers and evaporators, and miscellaneous kitchen equipment replacements at Various schools throughout the district. Walk in coolers/freezers, serving lines, and combi ovens for the various schools are not part of this contract. All work required for the complete installation of the equipment is included in the scope of work. Contractor must coordinate all work for the kitchen equipment vendor. The scope also includes ceiling replacement in the cold rooms at the Nutrition Service center which includes lighting replacement, condenser and evaporator upgrades, and sprinkler replacement. The condensers, evaporators, and all piping/accessories for the Nutrition Service Center cold rooms are included in this project. Bid Guaranty in the form of a Certified/Cashier's Check or Bid Bond shall accompany each bid. The amount of the Bid Guaranty shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the bid set forth on the Form of Proposal. The Bid Guaranty shall be made payable to Jefferson County Public Schools. The Bid Guaranty shall be issued by a Surety Company that has an A.M. Best Company rating of "A-" or better. Refer to Supplemental Instructions to Bidders. Absence of this document will be grounds for automatic rejection of bids.
