Sealed Bids Will Be Received by the Board of Trustees, Harper College, for Furnishing All Necessary Labor, Equipment, and Material for the Schaumburg Airport Hangar Buildout - at Harper College at 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine, Illinois 60067. The Work consists of but is not limited to the following for the Schaumburg Airport Hangar Buildout: selective demolition of general, electrical, and mechanical trade work; interior stud and shaft wall installation; painting; and electrical and mechanical work. All questions regarding the Bidding Documents shall be submitted via email to the Architects, Marisa Urbina (m.urbina@studiogc.com) and Rick Petricek (r.petricek@studiogc.com) and the Purchasing Manager for Harper College, Jewell Jackson (purchasing@harpercollege.edu). Replies will be issued to all bidders of record in the form of an Addendum. Questions received later than Thursday March 20, 2024, at 5:00 P.M. may not be answered. Bid security in the form of a bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Base Bid amount and all Alternate Bid amounts shall be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and a Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. Bids shall be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to: Harper College, Purchasing Department, located in A-Building, Room A217, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine, Illinois 60067. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety days after the submission without the consent of the Board of Trustees. Any bid submitted unsealed, unsigned, fax transmission, e-mail, or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time, may be disqualified and returned to the bidder. K.
