TIMELINE: Contract for consulting services to carry out general inspections and assessment of the load-bearing capacity has been awarded to the consultants following request for proposals # 6603-25-LM01. Reference number: 20055249. Bridge capacity assessment study is underway. Scope of work, budget, design, tender and construction schedules are undetermined. Further update in fall/winter, 2026. Note: The federal government, Quebec and Canadian National will invest a total of $1 billion over the next 25 years into the restoration of the historic 107-year-old Quebec Bridge .
