This project is being developed by Six Nations of the Grand River consists of landscape works to develop the first phase of a public park located at 2067 Tuscarora RD. Ohsweken ON. The existing lot is primarily a greenfield site that has had the recent installations of a pergola and gravel parking lot. The lot is to be developed into a public park to serve the Six Nations of the Grand River community, promoting health and wellness, along with educational and social opportunities. The landscape works project will complete the first of two phases to deliver this important community park. Community engagement and participation is a goal of this undertaking, and as described in the tender form bids should seek to utilize local resources and talents to complete the work. A high level summary of work is as follows, further information is included in the tender documents. A. Supply all labor and equipment required for mobilization & demobilization of the project B. Removal and off-site relocation of existing concrete blocks, as indicated on drawings. C. Supply and install conduit for future power connection to the existing pavilion D. Supply and install vehicular gate E. Excavate and regrade to depth for new paving and softscape, stockpiling existing topsoil and granular F. Supply and install new asphalt paving G. Supply and install new stabilized aggregate paving H. Reconfigure existing gravel parking lot, supplying new granular material as required I.
