Site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.
Lundgaard Park Phase II Improvements Work consists of: Construction of a new park shelter. The park shelter will include an open commons area, serving area, two restrooms, and a storage room. Site work will be required to modify the existing park to update utilities, site walkways, and site lighting and other work as indicated in the drawings and specifications. Bidder will be required to have Performance -Bond/Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract. Cost of Bond shall be included in Bid. No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid, payable to the City as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 10days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. If the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed for the best interests of the City and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
