Trenton Road & North Olds Boulevard GLG Traffic Signal Improvements :- The scope of the project involves a full traffic signal replacement and modernization at the intersection of Trenton Road and North Olds Boulevard, including associated roadway improvements and ADA ramps, in Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The scope of the project involves a full traffic signal replacement and modernization at the intersection of Trenton Road and North Olds Boulevard, including associated roadway improvements and ADA ramps, in Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The following paragraphs outline minimum acceptable standards to be followed for the construction of the traffic signals, signage, sidewalks, curb ramps, and all appurtenances as indicated in these specifications. The work shall be executed in the most workmanlike manner by qualified, careful and experienced workmen. The Prime Contractor shall be a pre-qualified Prime Contractor by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and all sub-contractors must be pre-qualified PennDOT contractors. The Contractor shall furnish and install the traffic signal supports, traffic signs, controlling detectors as necessary and pavement markings as indicated on the drawings. It is the intent of these specifications to describe complete and working traffic signal along with crosswalk and ADA compliant improvements. Accessories, hardware, brackets, clamps, wire and other material and devices not specifically mentioned, but otherwise required, shall be furnished and installed by the Contractor to complete the work. No traffic restrictions or lane closures are permitted on legal holidays and/or between the hours of 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Work on a Saturday or Sunday may be permitted by the Township with 48 hours advance notice. The Contractor must complete 100% of the project scope of work, not including the thirty-day test period, on or before March 31, 2026. The Advance Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued on April 15, 2025
