Island County is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced landscape contractors to provide professional services for approximately 3,500 square yards of exterior space at the Camano Island Administration Building. The project scope includes mowing, edging, weed control, fertilization, trimming of plants and shrubs as needed, with some irrigation maintenance. The information and instructions set forth below are designed to solicit responses that will demonstrate your company's capability to satisfy the County's requirements. Each company is requested to submit its most competitive offer. This is a prevailing wage public works project, located at the Island County Camano Admin. A bid bond executed by a State licensed surety company on a form acceptable to Owner, a cashier's check, or a certified check payable to the order of Island County Facilities Management, shall accompany each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid plus Additive Alternates, if any. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof' unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and/or all Bids for any reason and, to reject a Bid not accompanied by any required bid security or data required by the Bidding Documents or a Bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
