Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a conference / convention center in Gaffney, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a conference / convention center; for site work for a conference / convention center; and for asbestos abatement for a conference / convention center.
-Demo interior of structure on main floor back to brick walls, and original tongue and grove ceiling. -Demo all interior Walls except walls marked in Red on page 4 of attached drawings. -When interior wall joins exterior wall, the entire wall should be demolished back to a clean finish of the exterior wall. -Center main wall has archways. These walls will be taken back to original form. -Demo all drop ceilings on top floor. -Demo all framed ceilings located above the drop ceiling. -This included the framing and supports. -When complete with ceiling demo should be open back to original bead board ceilings. -Demo all carpet flooring, tile flooring in bathrooms. See abatement of asbestos below -Abate all Asbestos as follows. This must be performed by an asbestos licensed contractor and follow all state and federal regulations. -Base bid to include 2000 square feet and also give a per square foot price for any overage of underage's the base bid for flooring under carpet. -Bid to include flooring in safe area (approx. 600 sf) that needs to be abated. -TSI Piping in basement approx. 500 sf -TSI Aircell piping in basement approx. 200 sf -Demo all mechanical, electrical, and plumping. -Plumbing demo back to agree location under the main floor -Electrical demo back to electrical panel -Mechanical to be completely removed -Roof penetrations will be removed, and roof repair will performed in conjunction with the owner and the owner will be responsible for any cost of the roof repair. -Remove any cabinetry inside the structure. -Concrete safe to be removed (floor, walls, and ceiling) Subfloor to be installed to cover hole in floor after demolition -Black safe door when removed will be retained by the owner. -Contractor is responsible for removing and disposing of all material in the proper manner required by state standards. -Contractor will be giving a designated lay down area on the side of the building. -Contractor is responsible for all cost of permits and business license. -Contractor will have to meet all city insurance requirements (see attached) -Contractor will stipulate time schedule for project in bid proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all technicalities.
