Franklin Street / Stevens Street / Benjamin Terrace Traffic Signal Project. Estimated Cost $507,247.79 Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The work under this contract consists of safety and traffic operation improvements at the intersection of Franklin Street / Stevens Street / Benjamin Terrace and the roadway approaches. The proposed improvements include installation of a new traffic signal, reconstruction of cement concrete sidewalks with granite curbing, construction of AAB/ADA compliant pedestrian curb ramps, installation of MUTCD-compliant signs, and pavement markings. The work includes unclassified excavation, pavement milling and overlay, traffic signal construction, and other incidental work. All work shall take place between the hours of 7:00AM and 5:00PM unless otherwise approved by the Engineer and the DPW Director. This work shall be bid on a unit price basis to arrive at a total bid price. The Contract unit prices shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental costs required to complete the work.
