Site work and renovation of a civil project in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed construction consists of the addition of four chemical feed pumps, tanks, radar level systems as well as tubing and valves located at areas provided on the drawings and other miscellaneous items of work. Acquiring and installing four ortho/polyphosphate feed systems for the Marshfield Water Utility. The work will occur at the main Water Treatment Facility (WTF) (two systems for separate feeds), Wildwood and Southside areas. The work entails demolition of an existing caustic tank and associated piping at the WTF location. The Caustic Tank has been cleaned and flushed out but the associated piping may have some residual caustic in it. Take necessary precaution when demolishing this piping. Secondary containment PVC piping for the orthophosphate tubing will also be required. The secondary piping will not be used in areas where there is a turn or change in direction; only in straight sections where practical. An allowance for SCADA work has been included for Altronix (L.W. Allan). The work also includes electrical installation of wiring for power and sensor wiring for the pumps and level controls
