Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Antioch, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. Work to be Performed: The work shall generally consist of renovating the existing Nick Rodriguez Community/Senior Center roof. The work shall include, but not be limited to, removal and disposal of existing roof, removal and replacement of existing roof structure where applicable, and installation of new City Supplied modified bitumen roofing system. B. Location: Nick Rodriguez Community Center, 213 'F' Street, Antioch, CA 94509 and Antioch Senior Center, 415 W 2nd Street, Antioch, CA 94509. The estimated cost of construction is $1,000,000. Question Deadline 07/29/2025 All questions prior to award of the Contract shall be directed to the attention of Public Works Director via email at cip@antiochca.gov. Work to be Performed. The work shall generally consist of renovating the existing Nick Rodriguez Community/Senior Center roof. The work shall include, but not be limited to, removal and disposal of existing roof, removal and replacement of existing roof structure where applicable, and installation of new City Supplied modified bitumen roofing system and all other work shown on the plans, specified in the Standard Specifications, these Special Provisions and as directed by the Engineer. Remove existing roof to the structural deck. Mechanically attach 1/2" coverboard. Installation of Crickets behind HVAC units sloped to ensure proper drainage. Installation of SBS/SIS modified base sheet in Type IV hot asphalt. Installation of SBS/SIS modified cap membrane in Type IV hot asphalt. Installation of two ply modified base flashings set in Type IV hot asphalt. Application of two coats Title 24 approved white roof acrylic hybrid. Install two-part polyurea around all drains, valleys and waterways. Replacement of all remaining exposed wood blocks with neoprene rubber blocks to provide max 5' OC spacing. 10. Reuse of all existing neoprene rubber blocks. 11. Installation of new 24-gauge Kynar Coated edge metal, coping (profile to match existing). 12. Raise all mechanical units and install new blocking at sleepers and curbs as needed where wood supports are deteriorated. 13. Coat all exposed duct work with two-part polyurea Liquitec, reinforced with Unibond Seam tape at all joints and seams. 14. Reuse all downspouts. 15. Installation of 4 lb. lead jacks at all pipe penetrations. 16. Reuse of exhaust fan covers. 17. Remove and replace existing roof hatch to match existing profile. 18. Flashings, details, clean up, etc
