General Work Description: The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to improve the existing solids dewatering facility, in the City of Tulare. The work will include; Clearing and Grubbing, Site Grading, Site Surfacing, Site Piping, Sludge Equalization Tank and Mixer, Sludge Equalization Tank Liner, Sludge Feed Pump Station, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control. The right is reserved by the City of Tulare to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to evaluate the bids submitted and to award the contract according to the proposal which best serves the interest of said City. Time of Completion: Contractor shall complete all work contained in the construction documents within 280 working days. Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost: The engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is: $824,000.
