PROJECT LOCATION: The Project is located in Yuma County, Arizona. The proposed work is located in Wellton, AZ. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: A brief description of the work to be performed includes: o Major Item 1: Maybelle Street storm drain and Maybelle retention basin; o Major Item 2: Helen Street storm drain and Helen retention basin; o Major Item 3: Central Wellton storm drain and retention basin; o Major Item 4: Oakland Avenue storm drain. Each Bid Must Be Submitted in Accordance With the Project's Proposal Pamphlet and on the Forms Provided Therein Including, the Non-collusion Affidavit and a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent of the Total Amount of the Bid. The Proposed Work is Located in Wellton, Az. The Work Consists of, but is Not Limited to: Installing Maybelle Street Storm Drain and Maybelle Retention Basin, Helen Street Storm Drain and Helen Retention Basin, Central Wellton Storm Drain and Retention Basin and Oakland Avenue Storm Drain. The Amount Programmed for the Base Bid is $1,700,000. The Project Shall Be Complete and in Place Within 150 Calendar Days. All Bids Must Be in a Sealed Envelope and Plainly Marked: "wellton Area Drainage Improvements - Phase 2 Cip No. 3.1501a" The Flood Control District Board of Directors Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Informalities or Irregularities in a Bid, as It May Deem in the Best Interest of the District. Closure of only one street at a time will be allowed during storm drain construction in Wellton. Asphalt Concrete pavement replacement for the Maybelle Retention Basin Project, the Helen Retention Basin Project and of the Oakland Avenue Storm Drain Project shall each be completed within 1 week of completion of storm drain construction for the individual projects. For the Central Wellton Storm Drain Project, asphaltic concrete pavement replacement shall be completed in 2 phases, with phase 1 being the paving of Arizona Avenue and Fresno Street within 1 week of completion of storm drain construction on those streets, and phase 2 being the paving of San Jose Avenue and Jessie Street, also within 1 week of completion of storm drain construction on those streets.
