As of April 22, 2025, the project was awarded to Parking Lot Painting Company, with an awarded amount of $134,610.00 Line Painting of Westmoreland County Roads for the Westmoreland County Department of Public Works. This project includes 800,000 ft of 4 inch white and yellow pavement lines, hot thermoplastic paint (8" white 1980 ft, 24" white 1050 ft, 24" yellow 850 ft, 25 each white legends), and an allowance for 200 ft of marking removal at road, traffic signal, and crosswalk locations throughout the County The selection will be based on the lowest Bid. The minimum wage requirements as determined by the PA Dept of Labor & Industry shall apply to this project. PA DOT prequalification of bidders, including subcontractors for the proposed work is required on this project. Bidders are required to provide Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the base bid. Liquidated damages in the amount of $100 per day assessed if contract not completed on time. Non-collusion affidavit to be submitted with contract. The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
