Classroom Renovation at Low point Washburn Jr./Sr. High School, including labor, tools, equipment, materials and services for construction The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. WORK generally consists of renovation of existing open volume space into three (3) classrooms including CMU walls, mechanical and electrical systems, ceilings, drywall, doors and frames, and flooring.Not less than the prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work on this project, within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. Other correspondence shall be directed to Kenyon and Associates Architects, Inc., 6824 N. Frostwood Parkway, Peoria, IL 61615, (309) 674-7121 and KED bluestone, 707 NEJefferson Ave., Peoria, IL 61603, (309) 938-4005. Every bid shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to Low point Washburn School Dist. #21 in amount of ten percent of bid. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of his bid.All bidders not previously pre-qualified in the past two years must be pre-qualified with the Owner. Pre-qualification information shall be submitted in duplicate on a properly executed AIA Document A305 Contractor's Qualification Statement, 2007 Edition and received for consideration at the office of Kenyon and Associates, Architects, Inc., 6824 N. Frostwood Parkway, Peoria, IL 61615, by the bid opening date. No bid shall be withdrawn for 60 days after opening of bids without consent of the Owner. Work shall be substantially complete by August 1, 2025. The site of the work is at Lowpoint Washburn Jr./Sr. High School, District #21, 508 E. Walnut St., Washburn, IL 61570 Question Deadline 03/31/2025 Submit all questions about the architectural drawings and specifications to the Architect. Questions received less than seventy-two hours before the bid opening cannot be answered.
