The Project Primarily Consists of the Replacement of the Existing Axial Flow Stormwater Pumps With New Submersible Electric Pumps, Pump Column, Piping Modifications, Electrical and Controls. The Work Will Consist of, but Not Limited to, Demolition of Existing Piping and Pumps, Piping Modifications, Valves, Fittings, Installation of New Electrical and Controls, and Incidentals and Appurtenances Necessary for a Complete and Functioning Pump Station. Gomesa Program Stormwater Management System Remediation Project Phase 1a Gomesa Grant No. G-ccpa/23/cc Bid Security Shall Be Furnished in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders Shall Furnish Proof of Qualifications to Perform the Work as Described in the Instructions to Bidders. Time of Commencement of the Work and Contract Times for Completion Shall Be in Accordance With the Agreement. The City of Chickasaw Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, Waive Technicalities, Informalities or Irregularities in the Bids Received, Solicit New Bids, or to Choose That Bid Which is Deemed to Be in the Best Interest of the City of Chickasaw. The Instructions Contained in This Notice to Bidders Shall Be Considered as an Extension and Part of the Project Contract Documents. No Bids Will Be Considered Unless the Bidder, Whether Resident or Non-resident of Alabama, is Properly Licensed and Qualified to Submit a Proposal for This Construction in Accordance With All Applicable Laws of the State of Alabama. This Shall Include Evidence of Holding a Current License From the State Licensing City for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama, as Required by Chapter 8 of Title 34, of the Code of Alabama, 1975.
