Renovation of a mixed-use development in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general, the Project involves various updates to the existing gymnasium, which will include refinishing the athletic flooring, adding scoreboards and audio system, and associated electrical work for power and lighting. Construction shall occur during the school's summer break and be complete prior to the start of school in the fall of 2025. 2015 Wisconsin Act 55 repeals the state prevailing wage law for local governmental units such as villages, towns, cities, school districts, or sewerage districts effective January 1, 2017. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the maximum bid, payable to the Green Bay Public School District, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract and bond within 10 days after the award of contract. A Performance Bond, and Payment Bond each in the full amount of the contract will be required of the successful bidder.
