Bids for the replacement of fifteen exterior doors on the campus of Brilliant High School in Brilliant, AL. The bid price must be valid for a period of sixty (60) days beginning on the date the winning bidder is notified. The bid price must include the costs for delivery and installation including trim, hardware, and locks. A list of doors with approximate sizes is listed below and any further questions can be directed to Mr. Chad Williams, Maintenance Supervisor, at (205) 921-3191. Door sizing and all measurements are the responsibility of the bidder during the pre-bid meeting. Door brands and door construction specifications must be pre-approved by Marion County prior to bidding. Bids for non-preapproved doors will not be accepted. All exterior doors must be bid with DORMA cores keyed to match the Marion County lock system. NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR DOORS USING NON-DORMA CORES. All exterior doors must be pre-approved for brand and construction specifications. NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR DOORS NOT PRE-APPROVED. Gym Double doors there are six sets of doors to be replaced at the gym like these. The hardware will need to be replaced also. Only one of the doors will need to have a lock on the exterior side. Only a pull type handle will be needed for opening. All doors will need panic hardware. Replace one set of double doors at the north entrance of the main school building with the same type of doors as listed above. Both of these doors will need to have a lock on the exterior side. The hardware will need to be replaced also. Only a pull type handle will be needed for opening. Both doors will need panic hardware. Replace a single door and hardware on the south east side of the Science building. This door will need to have a lock on the exterior side. The hardware will need to be replaced also. The Marion County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts of bids. Payment will be through normal Board payment procedures. Invoice terms are to be Net 20 days from the date of satisfactory installation as determined by the Marion County Board of Education. Time allotted for completion is 100 days from award. SCHOOL SECURTIY REQUIREMENTS: All visitors must report to the Principal's Office upon arrival to campus.
