Scope of Work 1. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Gutter and Downspout Services as described herein: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts, supplies, tools, travel, permits, equipment, and incidentals necessary to remove, legally dispose of, and replace approximately 250 feet (ft) of existing gutter and 10 existing downspouts on the Dumbarton Bridge Toll Plaza Administration Building, in Alameda County. 2. Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement. All references to subcontracting or Subcontractors as found herein are not applicable to this Agreement. 3. The services shall be performed at Dumbarton Bridge Toll Plaza Administration Building, 84 West Fremont, CA 94555 in Alameda County. 4. Any reference to Caltrans Contract Manager shall also include their designee. 5. This Agreement will commence on May 1, 2025 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement will expire on October 31, 2025 (estimate). The services shall be provided during normal business hours Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
