Floyd County, Kentucky (hereinafter, "County") has experienced damages due to a flooding event occurring in February 2025 resulting in widespread damage. In order to recover and respond to disaster events in the future, the Floyd County Fiscal Court seeks to establish a contract with a qualified and experienced disaster debris removal and disposal contractor (hereinafter "Contractor") for immediate work via this Request for Proposals. DELIVERY ADDRESS: 149 South Central Avenue, Suite 9 Prestonsburg, KY 41653 SUBMISSION FORMAT Proposals are paper-based, 5 copies of technical proposal, 1 copy of price proposal, 1 copy of additional documents (see below) Please mark the outside of the envelope or FedEx package with: PROPOSAL FOR DEBRIS CLEANUP. Floyd County encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, Floyd County encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises.
