Project involves installation of approximately6,500 linear feet of 18-inch and 16-inch diameter sanitary sewer forcemain, horizontal directional drilling, erosioncontrol, traffic control,and asphaltic pavementreplacement. All Work is included in asingle prime contract. Bids shall be accompanied bya Bond or Certified Check payable to the Lake Pewaukee Sanitary District equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contractand furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to the Lake Pewaukee Sanitary District as liquidated damages. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Lake Pewaukee Sanitary District reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Est. Completion Date: Dec. 1, 2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all Plan Holder's of Record. Questions received from Bidders that do not, in Engineer's opinion, allow sufficient time to respond prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
