A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Contract 1: Water Main consists of the installation of approximately 40,000 linear feet of 8-inch and 12-inch water main, valves, hydrant, water services and appurtenances in the Town of Bethany. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted. Security for Faithful Performance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. Only written Requests For Information (RFI) will be accepted. RFI's will be accepted until 5:00 pm (Local Time) on August 25, 2025, at the office of the Engineer to the attention of the Project Engineer Dan Hards via email: DHards@CPLteam.com. If necessary, an Addendum will be issued by 12:00 pm (Local Time) on August 26, 2025, from the office of the Engineer. The Town of Bethany reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein. Document note : Requests for mailing of Bidding Documents shall only be made to the Issuing Office-Attn: Jessica Capers at JCapers@CPLteam.com. Bidders and Non-Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within 30 days after receipt of Bids will receive a full refund. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service.
