Reference Number 0000380124 CONTRACT NO. 11 is for sidewalk replacement on East and West Collins Street, from Adelaide Street to George Street on both sides of the street, Ivy Lane from Dina Street to Rapanos Drive on both sides of the street, and Dina Street from Wyllys Street to Rapanos Drive on both sides of the street. This will also include new ADA sidewalk ramps and landings, as well as the replacement of adjacent curb and pavement where necessary for said ramps. Bids will be tabulated and a contract may be awarded at a later City Council meeting. The project scope is to replace concrete sidewalks and sidewalk ramps, at the locations listed below. Sidewalks and sidewalk ramps shall meet ADA requirements and shall be installed as per the details included herein. Sidewalks shall be continuous through existing driveways. East and West Collins Streets from Adelaide Street to George Street on both sides of the street: Concrete Sidewalk, 4", 4-foot wide and Concrete Sidewalk, 6", 4-foot wide, through driveways, shall be removed and replaced at the locations shown on project map included herein. Additionally, there are sections of Concrete Sidewalk, 4", 6-foot wide that will be added replacing existing 4-foot-wide Sidewalk. This will be along the southwesterly side of Central Park. The City will mark all removals in the field and define any sections of sidewalk that are to remain. Concrete Sidewalk Ramp, 6-inch shall be installed, as directed by the City, at the intersection of East Collins Street and Ashman Street. The existing non-ADA compliant ramps will be removed and new ADA ramps will be placed at all four quadrants of the intersection, being a total of 7 ramps. Ivy Lane from Dina Street to Rapanos Drive on both sides of the street, and Dina Street from Wyllys Street to Rapanos Drive on both sides of the street: Concrete Sidewalk, 4", 4-foot wide and Concrete Sidewalk, 6", 4-foot wide, through driveways, shall be removed and replaced at the locations shown on project map included herein. The City will mark removals in the field and define any sections of sidewalk that are to remain.
