Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be performed in this improvement shall consist of the construction of a system of paved public sidewalks, 5' width with 4" thick Portland Cement Concrete, paved public trail, 8' width with 6" Portland Cement Concrete, together with curb ramps, detectable warning panels, imprinted median surfacing, seeding and matting, and any and all necessary appurtenances and other work that is incidental and necessary for a completed improvement. furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment required to construct as TRAILS, SIDEWALKS & CURB RAMPS - SECTION I for Sanitary and Improvement District 623, Douglas County, Nebraska, as per the plans and specifications for said work, at the locations shown on the detailed drawings and in the specifications now on nie with the Clerk of said District and available at the office of E & A Consulting Group, inc., All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by E & A Consulting Group, inc., and must be accompanied by an original bid bond or a certified check in the amount not less than $22,400.00 made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District 623 as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build the improvements in accordance with this Notice to Contractor and will give a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price, all as provided in the specifications. Bid bonds must be executed by a duly licensed corporate surety. Checks accompanying proposals not accepted shall be returned to the bidders. The work herein provided shall be done under written contract with the responsible bidder submitting the iowest acceptable bid in accordance with the requirements of the pians and specifications and as provided by law. Event bid note: and shall be marked ''PROPOSAL FOR TRAILS, SIDEWALKS & CURB RAMPS - SECTION I'' with the bidder's name and address on said envelope. Sanitary and Improvement District 623 of Douglas County, Nebraska, reserves the right to reject any or al! bids received and to waive informalities and Irregularities.
