Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Orange, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work generally consists of approximately 6,400 linear feet of granite curb, 1,900 square yards of sidewalk, 33,000 square yards of HMA milling, and 4,800 tons of hot mix asphalt surface course, ADA curb ramp construction, replacement of various inlet casting and inlet reconstruction and related improvements. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided, in the manner designated therein and required by the Specifications. They must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township Clerk, Township of West Orange, Essex County, New Jersey, and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the form provided of not less than 10% of the amount of bid. Said check or bid bond may not be less than $500 nor shall it be more than $20,000 and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety statement in the form provided from a Surety Company stating that the Surety Company will provide the bidder with a bond for 100% of the Contract amount in the event that the Contract is awarded to the bidder. A Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Record of Recent Contract Awards must also accompany the proposal on the forms provided. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the opening of bids. A Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or all proposals will be rejected within sixty (60) days after the opening of bids. The Mayor and Township Council of the Township of West Orange reserves the right to reject all bids, to reject unbalanced bids, and to waive any informality in any bid. The right is hereby reserved to reject any and all bids or any part thereof or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities, to reject unbalanced bids, and to accept any bid or bids if deemed in the best interest of the Township of West Orange to do so. Document Note: An additional $20.00 non-refundable fee will be required in advance for all prospective Bidders requesting that the bidding documents be mailed. There is no additional charge should a prospective Bidder request the documents be forwarded by UPS/FedEx (using the Bidder's own account number).
