The work performed under this specification shall include furnishing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials and all else necessary and incidental thereto to maintain parcel areas in the Township of West Orange as listed in Schedule A, Schedule B and Schedule C Work to be performed include: Cutting, Edging, Trimming of the attached parcels. The contractor shall blow off all debris, grass clippings, twigs, and leaves on all paths, sidewalks, public sidewalks, parking areas and public streets. Additionally, the contractor shall remove clumps of clippings wherever they are unsightly, threaten to smother grass or ground cover or pose a threat to public safety. It is the contractor's responsibility to repair any collateral damage caused to the turf areas as the result of any mowing operation. The contractor must pick up prior to mowing and debris. The contractor is not responsible for removing any debris on any hard surface athletic facilities such as basketball courts, tennis courts, hockey rinks or racquetball courts. Also, the contractor is not responsible for the maintenance of baseball infields. However, no debris shall be deposited on the hard surface courts or baseball infields as a result of the maintenance of the adjoining turf areas. The Township of West Orange will designate an area within the Township for disposal of source separated litter and debris and source separated vegetative waste, except grass clippings, but including leaves, twigs and branches. Grass clipping disposal is the responsibility of the contractor. No materials shall be placed along the frontage of any of the parcels listed in Schedules A, B, and C for collection and disposal by the Township.
