The Scope of Work consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 5,876 SY of concrete streets and two curb ramps. The western leg of Belle Meade and northern leg of Ironstone will be replaced in their entirety, and slabs will be replaced where needed on the rest of Ironstone. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor, acting as an independent contractor, shall do everything required by the Contract Documents. Contractor represents and warrants that contractor has special skills which qualify contractor to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract and that contractor is free to perform all such Work and is not a party to any other agreement, written or oral, the performance of which would prevent or interfere with the performance, in whole or in part, of the Work.
