The roadway and parking areas to be milled and repaved are a part of the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission Water Treatment Facility located in Wanaque, Passaic County, New Jersey. Orechio Drive is the main entrance to the Water Treatment Facility and must be kept open for deliveries throughout the duration of this paving project. The scope of work encompasses approximately 25,600 sq.ft. of existing pavement to be milled, re-paved and striped and an additional area of new pavement encompassing approximately 1,200 sq.ft. The scope includes concrete curb repair as well. Approximately 75 feet of depressed concrete curb and 40 feet of standard 6-inch curb needs to be replaced. The Selected Respondent shall be a licensed contractor in the State of New Jersey, shall have and provide upon request, demonstrable experience with general construction and roadway resurfacing associated with roadways and parking areas for Industrial/Commercial facilities. Respondents shall include 10 references and 10 similar projects completed within the proposal submitted to the Commission. In addition, the firm must own and maintain a local office within 100 miles of the Commission.
