The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, the following major work activities that are required to be completed by a qualified professional to complete the following work: a) Removal and the disposal of the nonoperational submersible pump and motor assembly in an environmentally friendly way. The Regional District may elect to retain certain components. b) Arrange for and complete a pre well redevelopment 4-hour continuous step rate draw down flow rate pump test to achieve a baseline of existing well conditions for well production. c) Well cleaning, disinfection, and well redevelopment. Utilizing a qualified professional, the Contractor will recommend and prescribe the methodology and approach for the well re-development for the entire depth of the well. d) Complete a post well redevelopment continuous 4-hour step rate draw down flow rate test to document and compare post well development improvements from baseline conditions. e) Water quality testing. Testing to include Nitrate analysis. f) Provide a stamped and sealed final hydrogeological summary report or equivalent. The report is to provide a summary of the well re-development procedures, the results from the step tests, water quality data, and to assist in determining the pump curve for the Contractor’s recommended selection of the replacement pump and motor assembly, including the pre and post specific capacity results including, but not limited to, sustainable yield, and specific gravity, including the pump operating heads and pump efficiencies.
