Drake Street Trail Connection The City of Fayetteville is accepting sealed bids from properly licensed firms for the construction of the connection to the Drake Street Trail. Questions regarding this bid should be addressed to Kenny Fitch, Sr. Procurement Agent at kfitch@fayetteville-ar.gov. Each bid exceeding $50,000 shall be accompanied by a cashier's check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond for five (5) percent of the amount bid. In the event a bidder opts to submit a cashier's check for a bid bond, the actual physical cashier's check shall be delivered to the City prior to the deadline. One hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bonds are required with the contract award. This amount includes any approved contingency. A State of Arkansas Contractor's License, registration with the Arkansas Secretary of State, and registration and good standing in the System for Award Management (SAM) will NOT be required at the time of the bid deadline, but all three shall be active and valid at the time of the contract award. The City of Fayetteville hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable Labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938.
