The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the "City") is seeking to pre-qualify general landscape contractors for the next three (3) year period, for the construction, development or redevelopment of City parks and/or outdoor public areas under the management of the Community Services Department. The construction projects will either be delivered based on Canadian Construction Documents Committee CCDC-2, Standard Stipulated Price Contract with City-issued Amendments as prepared by the City, or equivalent Stipulated Price Contract under the City's Terms and Conditions, without consultant involvement. Project scopes vary, but will include, but not be limited to, all or some of the following: - General landscaping - Heavy civil engineering works - Clearing and grubbing - Earthworks - Rough grading and/or fine grading - Seeding; sodding, and/or planting - Erosion and sediment control - Stormwater management servicing - Servicing - electrical, water and/or sanitary - Interactive (spray pads) and decorative water features (fountains) - Irrigation systems - Playgrounds and outdoor fitness with equipment installation - Park storage/maintenance buildings / coordination with building projects - Parking lots - Paving systems; asphalt/concrete - curbs, ramps etc. - Structural soil systems - Natural stone works (masonry) - Structural retaining walls - Soil management plans requirements including fill import, fill export and contaminated soils - Pedestrian bridges, boardwalks and staircases - Large scale structural steel works - Natural areas and habitat restoration/enhancement/protection - Shoreline improvements/repairs - Decorative/utilitarian fencing - Sports fields, including artificial turf sports fields - Sports courts - Refrigerated ice rinks - Shade structures - Pathway and sports lighting - Site furnishings - Signage Documents can be obtained at: https://mississauga.bidsandtenders.ca
