Purpose for the Request for Tenders The Corporation of the Town of Greater Napanee (hereinafter referred to as "the Town") is issuing this Request for Tender (hereinafter referred to as "RFT"), for the purpose of receiving submissions from a suitably qualified company to supply and install one (1) Columbarium at Riverview Cemetery and to supply and install one (1) Columbarium at the Roblin Cemetery. Companies that make a submission in response to this RFT are referred to as "Respondents" and the Respondents' submissions are referred to as "Proposals". Scope of Services and Objectives The successful company will, in collaboration with Town Staff, supply and install a 48-Niche Columbarium (2-sided) at Riverview and Roblin Cemeteries. The site preparation will be completed by the Town which includes leveling and foundation installation. The design of the two (2) 48-Niche Columbarium's (2-sided) shall include the following: Exterior: Overall Size: 86" x 32" x 63" Main Frame: to be constructed of polished grey granite Top: to be constructed of polished grey granite Base Size: 86" x 32" x 8" Interior Niche: interior measurement 12" x 12" x 12" Rectangular shape with interior door grey and exterior panel polished black granite The successful company shall: Have experience in the design and installation of columbaria; Have the ability to provide detailed cost estimates; Be responsible for their own Health and Safety as well as their employees; and the general public while working under contract on behalf of the Town; and Keep a reasonable person/foreman on site when undertaking the work; Have a valid WSIB Certificate and a valid Certifcate of Insurance.
