General: The Military Department, State of Mississippi, will contract for professional A&E services to design Convert Fire Station to Small Air Terminal at Key Field Air National Guard Base in Meridian, Mississippi. Project design is funded. A detailed description of the project is contained in paragraph 4 of this publication. Project Title: MDVL232125, Convert Fire Station to Small Air Terminal Location: Key Field Air National Guard Base, Meridian, Mississippi. Design services for Conversion of a Fire Station to an Air National Guard Small Air Terminal consisting of the following: The project will include design and engineering services to provide a full conversion of a 15,205 square foot facility for a small air terminal, deployment processing facility, and alert crew facility in support of the primary flying mission at Key Field. Work will include exterior improvements; minor floor plan modifications; interior systems as required, to include HVAC, mechanical, electrical, fire detection and suppression, and communications; site preparations and improvements as necessary for access, parking, and landscaping; and associated utility improvements. Facility space required includes administrative offices, dormitory/living area, kitchen and dining areas, passenger and cargo processing areas, equipment storage, and shop space.
