Sewer Rehabilitation & Maintenance and Infiltration and Inflow Reduction Program Deadline for Questions Day/Date: Monday, April 7, 2025 Time: 12:00 pm Location: City Hall - First Floor City Commission Chambers 10770 West Oakland Park Blvd. Sunrise, FL 33351 A description of the Projectis as follows: Scope of Work: The Work for this project consists of, but is not limited to, furnishingall tools, equipment, materials, supplies, manufactured articles, and for furnishing all transportationand services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performanceof all labor, work necessary for performing sanitary sewer repairs, and/or other operations, inaccordance with the Bid Documents. The work will occur within the City of Sunrise Utilities servicearea and will be performed on an as needed basis utilizing work orders. The principal features ofthe Work to be performed under this Contract include the following sewer system rehabilitationGroups, which include, but are not limited to, the primary tasks listed below: Group A- ExcavatedPoint Repairs: Excavated point repairs, cleanout installation, bypass pumping, surface restoration,and television survey. Group B- Manhole Rehabilitation: Replacing manhole frames and covers andperforming other miscellaneous manhole repairs, installing cementitious and epoxy manhole liners,replacing entire manholes, and bypass pumping. Group C- Mainline and Lateral Lining: Cured-in-place pipelining for gravity mains, cured-in-place pipelining for laterals, chemical grouting ofmainline joints and mainline/lateral connections, and associated work such as cleaning andpreparation, television survey, lateral reinstatement, cleanout installation, and bypass pumping; foldand form lining. NASSCO MACP Manhole Inspections, Level 1 and Level 2. Group D - SmokeTesting: Smoke Testing of lift station basin areas to identify sources of direct stormwater runoff(direct inflow) to the sanitary sewer system, and potential illicit discharges into the system.Location: The work will occur within the City of Sunrise Utilities service area and be performed onan as needed basis. TheCity shall be the sole and final judge in determining if the Contractor meets the QualificationRequirement.
