Renovation of an educational facility in Youngstown, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Work consists of but is not limited to the following items which are described within the Drawings and Specifications. a. General Contractor (Single Prime Contractor) i. ii. iii. Responsible for all work defined within the drawings and specifications. This includes all general work items as well as mechanical, electrical, plumbing work, and fire suppression. Responsible for scheduling and coordination of all subcontractors and trades. Project management duties shall include running project meetings, recording and distribution of meeting minutes and maintaining a project schedule through project completion. iv. Selective demolition of walls, doors and frames, finishes, etc. v. Construction of new metal stud partition walls, installation of new doors and frames, finishes, etc. vi. Mechanical work shall include demolition and new mechanical systems for heating and cooling as defined in the construction documents. vii. Electrical work shall include demolition and new electrical and low voltage systems as defined in the construction documents. viii. Plumbing work shall include demolition and new plumbing work as defined in the construction documents. Project Schedule 1. 2. Start Date: The project shall commence on or about May 5, 2025 Duration: Entire scope of work shall be completed by August 8, 2025. Refer to Project Closeout Checklist in Section 01 70 00 for conditions of Substantial Completion. a. Work schedules may require more than one shift and/or weekend shifts to complete the project within the allotted time frame. Additional compensation will not be considered for completion of work which is defined within the construction documents.
