**As of May 13, 2025 This project has been awarded to R.T. Vernal Paving & Excavating, Inc., with the awarded amount of $171,995.50.** The project will consist of a 4" overlay of asphalt pavement on six streets in Milton Township. The total project length of improvement is 3,252 linear feet. The project also includes partial depth and full depth repairs and adjustment to grade of utility manholes, valves, and catch basins. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. - A Bid Guaranty in the form of certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305, Ohio Revised Code, equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the Mahoning County Special Projects Office, 21 West Boardman Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44503, and to be given consideration, must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening ofbids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form ofwritten Addenda to the Specifications which, ifissued, will be made by certified mail with return receipt requested to all prospective bidders (at the respective addresses furnished for such purposes), not later than three (3) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Failure of any bidder to receive any such Addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under his/her bid as submitted. All Addenda so issued shall become part of the Contract Documents.
