Renovation of a mixed-use development in Luray, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Replace the existing aged and obsolete fire alarms systems. Panels are well past their useful life and are considered legacy devices with no parts/circuit boards available. With the panel upgrades the system will need to be brought into full code compliance with strobes, horns and smoke detection throughout the building. Due to the size, cost and complexity of these projects they will be phased in over 5 years (Page County Middle School 2025, Springfield Elementary School & Shenandoah Elementary School 2026, Luray Elementary School & Luray Middle School 2027, Grove Hill Elementary School & Page County Technical Center 2028, School Board Office 2029) The project is included in the County's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 19, 2025, project is funded for FY2024-2029, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
