Double Chip Seal Road Improvement Project The Chester County Solid Waste Authority is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Double Chip Seal Road Improvement Project. This contract includes subgrade preparation, installation of a 6-inch compacted 2A aggregate subbase, application of HFRS-2 high-float emulsified asphalt, and two layers of chip seal with No. 67 and No. 8 coarse aggregate. Key Project Details: - Grading and compaction of subgrade - Installation of a 6-inch compacted 2A aggregate subbase - Application of HFRS-2 high-float emulsified asphalt - Double chip seal application with rolling and sweeping - Surveying and quantity verification Question Deadline 04/04/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Location online portal. Interested contractors must be licensed, insured, and experienced in chip seal applications. Bidders must submit proposals through the PennBid platform. Chester County Solid Waste Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
