Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Cartersville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Bartow County School System is issuing this Request for Quote (RFP) Repairs to the Cass Middle School Athletic Field to secure needed field repair services from a qualified and licensed contractor. Description of Work Required The athletic field at Cass Middle School has developed several low spots that hold water and it does not properly drain to the storm sewer grates. The field needs to be backfilled and regraded to create an appropriate playing surface and to facilitate proper drainage to the catch basins. Additionally, once the field is properly graded and sloped to the drains, the sprinkler heads will need to be reworked to ensure proper coverage of the field and sod reinstalled. The contractor will be required to maintain the new sod to ensure proper establishment to include adjustment of watering schedule and providing and applying proper fertilizers with the goal of having a playable field at the beginning of the 25-26 school year. Bartow County School System reserves the right to award this contract to a single or multiple contractors, based on the needs of Bartow County School System.
