Bartow County is accepting sealed proposals for Engineering Design Services related to the project. The purpose of this RFQ is to select qualified Consultants to provide professional services to assist the County with specific engineering tasks related to the design of roundabouts at the intersection of SR 293 (Cassville Road) at Burnt Hickory Road, and the intersection of SR 293 (Cassville Road) at Mac Johnson Road which is adjacent to US 41/411 and improvements to the associated roadways. The objective is to mitigate traffic congestion, reduce accidents, improve safety, and promote efficient traffic flow, particularly during peak hours. The roundabouts will be designed to accommodate current and future traffic demands while addressing the need for safer and more sustainable transportation solutions. The deadline for written questions is Wednesday, April 30 at 5:00 PM. Restrictions on Communications are in place with the Staff/Buyer of Record from the issue date of this RFQ until a firm is selected and the selection is announced. Offerors are directed to submit all questions about this RFQ including technical requirements, submission instructions, and any other general information to Tom Sills, AICP. All questions concerning this RFQ must be submitted in writing to sillst@bartowcountyga.gov. No questions other than written will be accepted. No response other than written will be binding upon the County. Bartow County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to make award of contract in the best interest of the County and to waive technicalities and informalities.
