**As of August 29, 2025 , this project has been awarded to Steele & Associates Inc, awarded amount not available.** Site visits on Request Question Deadline 07/14/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted via email and sent to darcherjr@cityofcartersville.org The City of Cartersville, Georgia invites your company to submit a proposal on this RFP Package, titled: Pettit Creek Trail Bridge Replacement as defined hereinafter. The City of Cartersville reserves the right to waive informalities in any proposal, to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part, to readvertise, to negotiate segments of any or all proposals and to take any action that it feels is in its best interest. The proposal price for Pettit Creek Trail Bridge Replacement will include: 1). Replacement of the north bridge, along Cassville Road, a pedestrian boardwalk bridge along the Pettit Creek trail walking path. 2). Replacement of the south bridge, along the Pettit Creek River Walk area, also a pedestrian boardwalk bridge. A. Project Summary - North Bridge Replacement (along Cassville Road): Project includes all labor, materials and equipment to perform the following scope. Demo, dispose and rebuild per specs the section of build discussed onsite inspection. Includes reconstruction of columns, posts, composite decking, joists and outer band. Includes use of galvanized hardware, protective measures, silt fence (as needed) and pressure treated lumber, or composite if, and where, applicable. The length of the bridge is estimated at 483-feet and the width is 10-feet. South Bridge Replacement (river walk location): -Project includes all labor, materials and equipment to perform the following scope. Demo, dispose and rebuild per specs the section of build discussed onsite inspection. Includes reconstruction of columns, posts, composite decking, joists and outer band. Includes use of galvanized hardware, protective measures, silt fence (as needed) and pressure treated lumber, or composite if, and where applicable. The length of the bridge is estimated at 259 feet, and the width is 10-feet. B. Permits - Contractor will obtain the necessary building permits for installation of the bridge replacement. Note that the City of Cartersville will waive all permit fee requirements from the city. C.
